Die österreichischen Notarinnen und Notare laden zu den 36. EUROPÄISCHEN NOTARENTAGEN vom 23.–24. APRIL 2026 in SALZBURG ein.
Europa ist in Bewegung. Die Europäische Kommission von der Leyen II hat zu Beginn ihrer Amtszeit zahlreiche Konsultationen durchgeführt und erste Initiativen auf den Weg gebracht. Nun werden Richtungsentscheidungen erwartet. Wohin entwickeln sich jene Rechtsbereiche, die zu den Tätigkeitsfeldern des Notariats gehören?
Ein 28. gesellschaftsrechtliches Regime ist in Vorbereitung. Die EU-Erbrechtsverordnung soll evaluiert werden. Daneben spielen technische Entwicklung, insbesondere der Einsatz künstlicher Intelligenz im Notariat eine immer größere Rolle. Diese Themen werden nun in den Mittelpunkt der Fachtagung am 24. April gerückt: Notariat2030@EU - Weichenstellungen für Europas rechtspolitische Prioritäten. Viele Zukunftsfragen sind offen und sollen diskutiert werden.
Wird das 28. Regime den notwendigen Rahmen für EU-weit verlässliche, rechtssichere Unternehmensformen bringen, der die Vielzahl an rechts- sozial und wirtschaftspolitischen Interessen berücksichtigt?
Ist die EU-Erbrechtsverordnung nach mehr als 10 Jahren Anwendbarkeit - etwa vor dem Hintergrund vermehrt digitalen Vermögens - noch zeitgemäß oder besteht Änderungsbedarf? Sind Vereinfachungen des Europäischen Nachlasszeugnisses ohne Substanzverlust möglich?
Wie gestaltet sich der Einsatz neuer technischer Mittel, insbesondere der künstlichen Intelligenz und wie integrieren Notariate in Europa diese in ihre Arbeitsabläufe?
Hochrangige Referent:innen der Europäischen Kommission und des Europäischen Parlaments, ausgewählte internationale und nationale Expert:innen aus der Rechts- und Unternehmenspraxis sowie der Wissenschaft werden erwartet.

Setting the course for Europe’s legal policy priorities.
Austria’s notaries would like to invite you to attend the 36th Conference of Civil-Law Notaries from 23-24 April 2026 in Salzburg:
Europe is on the move. At the beginning of its term of office, the von der Leyen II European Commission conducted numerous consultations and launched its first initiatives. Policy decisions are now expected. In what direction are those areas of law developing which fall within the scope of notarial activities?
A 28th company regime is under way. The EU succession regulation is to be evaluated. On top of that, technological developments, in particular the use of artificial intelligence in notarial practice, are playing an ever-increasing role. The technical conference on 24 April 2026 will focus on these very issues:

Many questions about the future remain open and need be discussed:
Will the 28th regime create the required framework for EU wide, reliable corporate forms that guarantee legal certainty, taking the multitude of legal, social and economic policy interests into account?
Being in force for more than 10 years, is the EU succession regulation still up to date, e.g. against the backdrop of growing digital assets, or is there a need for amendment? Is a simplification of the European Certificate of Succession possible without a loss of substance?
How will new technical tools, in particular artificial intelligence, be used and how will notaries in Europe integrate them into their work processes?
We expect high-ranking speakers from the European Commission, the European Parliament and eminent international and national experts from legal and corporate practice as well as academia to attend.
